French Heritage Day July 11th

Vermont’s 10th Annual French Heritage Day will enliven Winooski’s downtown on Saturday, July 11, from 10 am – 4 pm. The outdoor celebration of all things French — music, art, crafts, history, food, language — is moving to the Winooski Falls Way greenspace after nine beautiful summers in Vergennes. Knifemakers, genealogists, clockfixers, handspinners, fiddlers, singers, historians, lacemakers, fencers, petanque-players, chair-caners, trappers, traders and canoemakers, produced by the Winooski Historical Society. For a great day of free fun for all ages in Vermont’s most French-settled community — just show up!

The event is free to the public. If you’d like to help bring French Heritage Day to Winooski, feel free, please, to mail a financial contribution in the form of a check made out to Winooski Historical Society, 20 Winooski Falls Way, Suite 42, Winooski VT 05404 (sorry, no online payment option for this year). Please write “French Heritage Day” in the memo line, and thanks!

Individuals, groups or businesses interested in participating as exhibitors, please email FrenchHeritageDay@gmail.com.
