See the great video segmant here: wcax covers the farmers market
“Clear skies Sunday made for a busy Winooski Farmers Market.
The market is expanding to up to 22 vendors and moved to a new location off the Winooski circle. Sunday was the second market of the season. The changes are designed to attract more vendors like John Snell of Marsh Hollow Jams, who has chosen to showcase his jams at the market the last two years and says its a good way to make connections to other customers or entrepreneurs. “It’s a great way to do grassroots marketing. You get to talk directly to the people, have them taste my product. You get instant feedback from their faces,” he said.
“We may expand to around 25-26 this summer. We’re looking for a couple of other things — still looking for beef for our farmers market — and honey,” said the market’s Charlotte Roozekrans.
The market is open every Sunday until October.”
