Erica Victoria (she/they) is a queer, disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent survivor.
They are an artist and disability justice educator. Erica believes that the process of making art in community creates a brave space for folks to express themselves and be witnessed, seen, and validated. Her primary medium for her artwork is oil paints, although she also works with acrylic paint, collage, ink/pen, watercolor, and pastels. Themes of their artwork include time travel, space-time, fantasy, magic, change and transformation. She is also inspired by nature and the universe and often paints mystical or “out of this world” landscapes.
Erica is passionate about co-building peer-led spaces for queer, disabled neurodivergent folks to make art, share in community, and support one another. Erica’s disability justice workshops focus on supporting disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, psych survivors and survivors of trauma and violence.
Erica also teaches other disabled survivors tools and resources to help them build community and collective power to resist systems of oppression.
