Please note that carving is closed from 4-5pm daily to allow us time to prepare pumpkins for the evening.
Take-Home Pumpkins
If you’d rather carve your pumpkin at home, you can pick up a pumpkin from the Winooski Senior Center during any open carving hours. Please make sure you return your pumpkin by the deadline on Friday, even if you didn’t get a chance to carve it!
Note: if you’re gutting your pumpkin at home, please carve the access hole in the bottom of the pumpkin, not the top! This is necessary for our new lighting system.
Volunteering
Does scooping pumpkin guts sound fun to you? In awe of how we get 1,000 pumpkins carved and want to help out behind the scenes? Come volunteer! We welcome volunteers at any time, but can be best prepared for you when you sign up ahead of time! Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering.
We’re looking for help the day of the big event too!
